This Cartier Tonneau is a refined and elegant dress watch from the 1970s, showcasing the signature curved case design that defines the Tonneau line.
The 18k yellow gold case is in excellent overall condition, with clean surfaces and deep engravings. The serial number and Cartier hallmarks on the case back are clearly visible, indicating that the watch has likely never been polished or only very lightly once.
The dial is pristine, showing no signs of aging, spotting, or discoloration. The blued steel hands are also in excellent condition, with a strong, even tone.
The glass crystal is clear and well-preserved, with only minor signs of wear.
Inside, the watch houses the manual-winding Caliber 78-1, a reliable and slim movement appropriate for this elegant case profile.
The watch is fitted with a non-original leather strap and a gold-plated buckle, both in decent condition but should be replaced for daily wear.
