SHIPPING POLICY
1. WORLDWIDE SHIPPING & PARTNERS
Ad Astra S.R.L. ships globally from our headquarters in Turin, Italy. We partner exclusively with premium express couriers to guarantee speed and security:
Standard High-Value: DHL Express.
Ultra High-Value / Armored: Ferrari Group (available upon request or for specific high-complication timepieces).
2. SHIPPING COSTS & INSURANCE
Cost: Shipping is Complimentary (Free) worldwide. The price you see is the price you pay to us.
Insurance: Every shipment is 100% fully insured by Ad Astra until the moment of delivery. You bear no risk during transit. The risk of loss or damage transfers to you only upon your signature at the delivery address.
3. ORDER PROCESSING & DISPATCH
Dispatch Time: We typically dispatch watches within 24-48 hours of payment clearing.
Mandatory Identification (Anti-Money Laundering): Before we can generate the shipping label, Italian law (T.U.L.P.S.) requires us to identify the buyer. You may be asked to upload a copy of your Government ID (and Tax Code for Italian residents). We cannot ship until these documents are received.
4. ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES
Once the package has left our facility, the estimated delivery times are:
Europe: 1-2 Business Days.
USA & North America: 3-5 Business Days.
Asia & Rest of the World: 3-5 Business Days.
Note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs clearance procedures or remote locations.
5. CUSTOMS & IMPORT DUTIES
Transparency is key. Please check your location below to understand your tax obligations:
European Union (EU) Clients: NO Customs, NO Extra Taxes. Watches are sold under the VAT Margin Scheme (Art. 36 D.L. 41/1995). The price you pay at checkout is final. There are no hidden fees upon arrival.
Extra-EU Clients (USA, UK, Switzerland, Asia, etc.): Taxes are NOT included. Ad Astra ships on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis.
You are responsible for paying any Import Duty, VAT, or Local Sales Tax levied by your country’s customs authority.
Customs Clearance: When the package arrives in your country, the courier (DHL) will contact you to arrange payment of these duties. Please have your ID and payment method ready to avoid delays.
Note: We cannot declare a lower value on the invoice. This is illegal and voids the insurance coverage.
6. PACKAGING & SECURITY
Discretion is our priority.
Exterior: Your watch will arrive in a generic, unbranded Anti-Theft Security Bag.
Interior: Inside the sealed bag, you will find an unbranded box containing the watch and its accessories. This multi-layer system ensures that the contents are not visible during transit and that any attempt to open the package is immediately visible.
7. IMPORTANT: RECEPTION PROTOCOL
To guarantee your insurance coverage, you must follow this Strict Protocol upon delivery.
Inspect BEFORE Signing: Look closely at the outer Anti-Theft Bag. Check for any signs of cuts, tears, or resealing (e.g., different tape).
If it looks tampered with: REFUSE delivery immediately and state "Damaged Package" to the courier.
Film the Unboxing: If the bag looks intact and you accept it, we strongly recommend filming a continuous video while opening it.
Start by filming the sealed bag.
Open the bag and the inner box.
Reveal the watch.
Why? This video is your insurance policy. In the rare event of an "empty box" scam or hidden damage, this video allows us to process a full refund instantly.
8. FAILED DELIVERY
If you are unavailable to receive the package after multiple attempts by the courier, or if you refuse to pay customs duties (for Extra-EU orders), the package will be returned to Ad Astra. In this case, the cost of return shipping and any re-import duties charged to us by Italian Customs will be deducted from your refund.
