Things you should know
This Submariner is in overall great, attractive and original condition. It comes with the original stamped warranty from 1972, and it was bought 20 years ago from the original owner
The case is strong with scratches and some nicks; it appears to have been only slightly polished. The caseback has some light marks. The numbers between both sets of lugs are a bit worn but remain visible. The reverse side of the lugs have some scratches due to the bracelet.
The dial is clean with a light patina throughout. The lume on the dial has aged to an attractive light yellow color as the hands did. The hands have developed patina and oxidation and the lume is close to matching the lume on the dial.
The bezel insert is in great condition and it's a Mark II, correct for the early 70s, with light wear and a couple of darker stains due to wear, it has remained dark black. The bezel ring is in overall good condition with some scratches but still really sharp. The origins, non-triplock crown shows some wear.
The Rolex 9315 bracelet is in good condition with scratches and wear, it's equipped with 280 endlinks and is dated to 1970, indicating it is the correct bracelet for this watch.
The case, dial, movement, crown, and bracelet are signed by Rolex.
