Things you should know
This is a beautiful vintage ladies' bracelet watch by Jaeger-LeCoultre, featuring a stunning salmon two-tone dial. The inner bullseye is slightly darker, surrounded by a lighter outer ring, and the painted Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock stand out in black. The remaining hour markers display a unique iridescent cobalt tone due to oxidation, adding charm to the vintage aesthetic. The dial shows signs of aging, with visible water ingress marks around 6 o’clock and light spotting throughout, but the time remains clearly legible.
The black hands are in excellent condition and contrast elegantly against the salmon dial. The watch is operated via a winding crown on the caseback, rather than the usual side crown at 3 o’clock, giving it a sleek, seamless profile.
Its round case integrates beautifully with an articulated ring-link bracelet, creating a perfect blend between a timepiece and a piece of jewelry. It wears elegantly on the wrist and fits up to approximately 160–165 mm in wrist circumference. The approximate gross weight of the watch is 31 grams. The watch has been recently serviced and runs well.
The case has been polished over time, which has partially removed an original inscription and the serial number from the caseback. It shows some surface scratches and small dings, but remains in good vintage condition overall. The bracelet is hallmarked with the French eagle’s head, indicating 18k gold and French manufacture.
