The Condition Report

This Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, reference 56303 ST, is a refined expression of the iconic Gérald Genta design. As the "no-date" sibling to the reference 56175, this 33mm model offers a more balanced and minimalist aesthetic, stripping away the date aperture to emphasize the geometric symmetry of the Petite Tapisserie dial.

This specific example is a notably early production piece, bearing a very low three-digit serial number just above 100. It remains in highly original vintage condition, retaining the correct first-series integrated bracelet. The clasp features the period-correct "AP" flip-lock, and the bracelet itself shows remarkable structural integrity with virtually no stretch, suggesting it was worn with exceptional care.

The centerpiece of this watch is its spectacular "tropical" dial. The original black finish has aged into a nuanced palette of light grey with distinct bronze and brown speckling. This natural patination process creates a unique visual texture that remains perfectly complemented by the matching luminous material on both the hands and the hour markers.

The steel case preserves its original factory finish, with the alternating brushed and polished surfaces remaining crisp.

Performance Log
Upon arrival, every watch is verified for authenticity. The movement is then completely disassembled, and each individual component is cleaned. Once reassembled and lubricated, the timepiece undergoes a rigorous 72-hour test in all dynamic positions.

The technical values listed below are merely a snapshot recorded in the "Dial Up" position. Variations in amplitude or rate compared to modern standards are physiological for vintage timepieces.

Furthermore, strictly adhering to our philosophy of preservation, we prioritize retaining original components whenever possible, even if this results in slightly lower performance metrics, provided they do not compromise the reliability and correct functioning of the timepiece.
