This IWC Ingenieur Ref. 3506 is an outstanding example of the reference, featuring a beautifully preserved case and bracelet that maintain their original sharp lines and classic profile. The case remains crisp and robust, showing only a few scratches that attest to its authenticity and careful use over time. While it has been polished in the past, it retains its strong shape, with particularly well-preserved bevels—an essential characteristic that enhances its appeal.

The caseback exhibits minor marks consistent with regular wear, a testament to the watch being enjoyed rather than stored away. Notably, the original serial engravings remain visible on the exterior—a rare feature, as these markings are often lost through wear.

The dial and hands are in excellent condition. The gold-toned hands, with well-preserved lume, complement the stunning white paper-graph dial, which appears spotless to the naked eye. Only under magnification and strong lighting do a few minor spots and imperfections become visible. The hands show minimal oxidation, while the dial has retained its crisp original hue. All lume plots on the dial remain in very good condition, having aged to a warm golden tone that contrasts subtly with the slightly whiter lume on the hands.

The bracelet is another highlight of this piece. With minimal stretch and only some scratches, it maintains exceptional structural integrity, reflecting the care it has received over the years.
