The Condition Report

This is a classic Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso, reference 250.8.86, from circa 1990. It is a refined example of the iconic Art Deco design that has defined the brand for decades, presented here in excellent aesthetic condition.

The dial is nearly flawless, featuring a sophisticated vertical brushed finish. This texture provides a beautiful backdrop for the crisp, black printed Roman numerals and the signature blued steel hands, which offer a vibrant pop of color against the monochromatic steel.

A standout feature of this specific timepiece is the original Jaeger-LeCoultre stainless steel bracelet. This is a relatively rare find, as many Reversos from this era were sold on leather straps. The bracelet features a hidden double deployant clasp, maintaining a seamless and elegant look around the wrist while offering a more robust and sporty feel than leather.

The reversible case mechanism is smooth and precise. On the caseback, the reference and serial numbers remain crisp and deeply engraved, indicating that the watch has been well-preserved and not over-polished. Overall, this Reverso is in optimal condition, offering a timeless aesthetic paired with the rare versatility of its original steel bracelet.

Performance Log
Upon arrival, every watch is verified for authenticity. The movement is then completely disassembled, and each individual component is cleaned. Once reassembled and lubricated, the timepiece undergoes a rigorous 72-hour test in all dynamic positions.

The technical values listed below are merely a snapshot recorded in the "Dial Up" position. Variations in amplitude or rate compared to modern standards are physiological for vintage timepieces.

Furthermore, strictly adhering to our philosophy of preservation, we prioritize retaining original components whenever possible, even if this results in slightly lower performance metrics, provided they do not compromise the reliability and correct functioning of the timepiece.
