Though it has been polished in the past, it retains crisp bevels along the edges, giving it a well-preserved, defined profile. The original brushed finish on the caseback is still intact with clear, legible engravings, further complemented by the personal inscription, "B. Cummings," which adds a layer of unique history to the piece.

The dial and hands are in fine vintage condition, showcasing their authentic character. The subtle oxidation on the hands and the small tritium hole in the minute hand reflect the watch’s well-aged charm. The tritium on the hands transitions beautifully from a rich, almost black-brown to deep yellow, while the tritium on the dial exhibits a striking yellow-orange hue, providing a captivating contrast. The dial itself is in superb shape, with the black writing deeply preserved and remarkably clear. It shows a couple of very minor oxidation spots, which are subtle and do not detract from its overall appeal. The original bracelet, while from the 1980s and not the one initially sold with the watch, is in exceptional condition. It is virtually free of stretch and boasts a sturdy clasp, offering both reliability and a comfortable fit over time.

The crystal is brand new and it's an original Rolex plexiglass, maintaining the vintage aesthetic while ensuring clarity. Notably, the case, dial, movement, and bracelet are all original and signed Tudor, preserving the integrity and authenticity of this remarkable timepiece.
